Suburban is focused on helping people meet Jesus and become Fully Alive in Him. We do this by encouraging everyone we meet to take steps to grow in their relationship with Christ, connect with the local church, and serve the community around them. Curently we have eight full-time employees and a number of part-time employees on the church staff as well as another dozen staff members who run our day care and preschool. We recently entered into a partnership with a Christian co-ed dorm that is providing ways for us to reach out to Oregon State students. A typical week sees our church building used by growing children's and youth programs, adult small groups and studies, and a number of ministries that reach out to our local community.
Suburban is located in the heart of the Willamette Valley--one of the most beautiful places in the Pacific Northwest. Corvallis, the home of Oregon State University, has the advantages of a smaller town while enjoying the resources, programs, and activities that the university brings. We're an hour away from Oregon's beautiful coast and an hour away from the Cascade mountains.
