A. Spiritual Maturity & Character – Calvary Chapel is looking for a candidate who:

• has a sincere, mature faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
• has a true love for God and His people as evidenced by the fruit of the Spirit, a love for God’s Word, and a heart for worship.
• is self-motivated and driven to expand the ministries of Calvary Chapel to their full potential.
• has a burden to reach High School youth (9^th to 12^th grades) and Young Adults (18-30) with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
• will be a source of encouragement and godly counsel to the High School youth and Young Adults.
• will be a great resource for High School parents.
• will be a good example of living a Christian life to the youth, church, and community.
• will be able to submit to the leadership of the Senior Pastor, Pastoral Supervisor, and Elder Board of Calvary Chapel.

B.  Job Description

1.   High School – Calvary Chapel is looking for a candidate who:

• will organize weekly meetings for the High School ministry during the mid-week service.
• is able to teach, equip, and motivate High School youth from God’s Word, chapter by chapter, and verse by verse in a relevant, practical manner so they may apply biblical principles to their lives.
• is able to organize special events, Winter Retreats, Summer Camps, community outreaches/service events, Mission Trips, and Fundraisers for the High School ministry.
• is able to develop and manage budgets for the High School ministry.
• is able to recruit, organize, and provide ongoing mentoring of leaders for the High School ministry.

2.   Young Adults Ministry – Calvary Chapel is looking for a candidate who:

• will promote, organize, and manage, small groups, and weekly and/or monthly special events (i.e. retreats, night of worship) for the Young Adults ministry.
• is able to teach, equip, and motivate young adults from God’s Word, chapter by chapter, and verse by verse in a relevant, practical manner so they may apply biblical principles to their lives.
• will promote, organize, and lead outreach efforts to local universities and colleges.
• is able to develop and manage budgets for the Young Adults ministry.

3.   Sunday Night Service Worship Leader – Calvary Chapel is looking for a candidate who:

• is a skilled musician, proficient at playing the acoustic or electric guitar while leading contemporary, God-centered worship songs.
• is able to organize worship teams, create worship sets for the weekly Sunday evening services, and direct the worship team during practices.
• is able to resolve conflict and bring godly instruction to worship team members with grace and truth.

C. Additional Qualifications – Calvary Chapel is looking for a candidate who:

• agrees with Calvary Chapel’s Statement of Faith and Calvary Chapel Distinctives.
• has graduated from an accredited Bible College with the equivalent of an Associate’s Degree (minimum).
• is able to clearly communicate orally and in writing with the youth, young adults, and parents.
• will participate in and bring a positive contribution to weekly staff meetings.
• will coordinate with the leadership team and other ministry teams.

Compensation packages are negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
